Advanced documentation
Model access rights¶
Info
This only concerns Arkindex Enterprise Edition: in the Community Edition, there are no access rights.
From the details of a model, you can see which users and user groups have access to this model, and with which access level. If you have an administrator access to that model (whether because you created it, or because an administrator gave it to you) you can manage these memberships.
See the model access rights documentation for more information.
Public models¶
Info
This only concerns Arkindex Enterprise Edition: in the Community Edition, there are no access rights.
Some models do not require access rights and can be executed by any user on an Arkindex instance. However, users still need administrator rights on these models to perform some actions, such as archiving models or managing their memberships. See the model access rights documentation for more information.
Only instance administrators can make models public.
Archived models¶
Deleting models that will not be used anymore is not always possible, because Arkindex does not allow deleting model versions if objects (elements, transcriptions, entities etc) that they have produced still exist on the instance. It is however possible to archive a model.
Warning
Only users with administrator
access to a model, or instance administrators, can archive models.
Archived models can no longer be used in processes, and are displayed in their own tab in the models list. It is possible to archive a model from the Arkindex frontend, but an archived model can only be made available again by an instance administrator from the admin interface.
